Supporting Responsible Decisions
This month, the Town Council and County Commission updated housing regulations. We wrote letters supporting the Pilot Preservation Program and enabling DACA recipients to apply for ownership units through the Affordable Housing Department. We are especially grateful that the DACA update passed unanimously! We also want to thank our Commissioners Luther Propst, Natalia Macker and Mark Newcomb who voted to purchase a property in town and remove it from the speculative market.
Housing Survey due 10/8
The Housing Department is in the middle of completing a Housing Assessment to help inform and direct their priorities. This is our chance to weigh in as a workforce and let the department know what we need! Anyone who works in Teton County is eligible, so please share with your commuter friends/colleagues/neighbors as well. Take the survey by October 8 in English or in Spanish.
