Elected officials end partnership with Pennrose
The decision to end the partnership with Pennrose marks a major turning point for the Virginian development. From the beginning, our goal has been clear: create a vibrant, mixed-income neighborhood with hundreds of permanently deed-restricted homes for locals. While the path forward has changed, the urgent need for homes has not.

We want to hear from our elected officials about their concrete plan for what comes next. We cannot afford to wait until new officials are seated or push meaningful action into next year. Our community has already waited too long.

We’ll continue showing up, asking questions, and advocating for timely action to keep the Virginian moving forward.

More than 50 community members came out to hear directly from the candidates about the issues shaping the future of Teton County, including housing, growth, infrastructure, and the decisions that will impact our community for years to come.

We’re grateful to the candidates who took the time to participate and to everyone who asked thoughtful questions, listened with curiosity, and engaged in respectful dialogue. Events like these help voters make informed decisions and strengthen our local democracy.
