RE: SLIB decision & the fairgrounds

Dear State legislators, County Commissioners, Town Councilors, and Town/County staff,

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your help securing ARPA funds for the Flat Creek Apartments. I especially thank those who made the effort to attend the recent SLIB meeting to speak on this issue. The allocation of $1.25 million for the Flat Creek Apartments is a testament to your commitment to creating a more inclusive and sustainable future for our town. All of us at ShelterJH are thrilled to see this project move forward with ARPA funds in hand, knowing that our most vulnerable locals will soon move into these new homes. 

Additionally, I would like to take this opportunity to address the ongoing concerns regarding the fairgrounds. ShelterJH is committed to finding a resolution to this feud that benefits all stakeholders involved. By fostering open dialogue and collaboration at the local level, I am confident that we can navigate through these challenges and find a solution that preserves the cherished heritage of our fairgrounds while meeting the evolving needs of our community.

Your leadership regarding both of these issues is vital, and I am optimistic that you will continue to guide our community through these challenges with unwavering dedication.
